MOSCOW, January 3 (RIA Novosti) - A 76-year-old resident of Amsterdam got stuck in a recycling paper container Thursday while looking for his lottery ticket, the Dutch police said in a statement.

The man, whose name wasn’t disclosed, was dumping his used paper in the underground container when thought that he had accidentally tossed out his lottery ticket. The elderly man opened the container and climbed in, but failed to get out.

Passers-by heard him crying for help and called the emergency service. The police said that the man was released unhurt, and that he didn’t find the lottery ticket. It is still unclear whether it was a winning ticket or not.
