MOSCOW, February 10 (RIA Novosti) - A 24-year-old British man has been arrested in connection with a Facebook threat to kill 200 people, Sky News reported on Saturday.

Police suspects Reece Elliott from South Shields of posting an anonymous message on a memorial Facebook page for a Tennessee student who died in October.

The message read: "My father has three guns. I'm planning on killing him first and putting him in a dumpster. Then I'm taking the motor and going in fast. I'm gonna hopefully at least 200 before I kill myself."

The man has been charged with making threats to kill and is currently in custody.

Adam Lanza, 20, killed 20 young children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, then killed himself. The tragedy has revived efforts to toughen gun control in the United States.
