MOSCOW, July 24 (RIA Novosti) – Prince William and Kate Middleton have named their son George Alexander Louis, their royal house said Wednesday.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son George Alexander Louis,” Clarence House said on its Twitter account. “The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.”
The choice of the name came as no surprise. British bookmakers had the highest odds on George as the first name of the prince, born on July 22.
The baby is the third in line to the British throne, after his grandfather Prince Charles and father Prince William.
