ROSTOV-ON-DON, August 7 (RIA Novosti) - A man in southern Russia has been accused of killing his guest with an axe for "eating too much," local prosecutors said Thursday.
The 54-year-old suspect in the southern Russian city of Astrakhan was partying with the 28-year-old guest late last Friday.
Several minutes later the party grew into a quarrel and the host started criticizing the man for overeating during his frequent visits, which often turned into overnight stays.
The host then allegedly took an axe and killed the man with "several blows to the guest's chest and head." Investigators say he then hid the body in a storehouse.
Three days later a passer-by saw the body and called the police. A criminal case has been opened.
