MOSCOW, June 8 (RIA Novosti) - Four cars were set on fire in Moscow on Sunday, bringing the total to 32 since a wave of arson attacks on vehicles parked outside apartment blocks began on May 30, police said.

A police spokesman told RIA Novosti that three cars caught fire soon after midnight in southern Moscow, and another at about 7:30 a.m. local time (03:30 GMT) in the north of the city.

Six vehicles were torched in the city on Saturday, in what is believed to be the work of a now infamous 'car arsonist'.

Moscow police earlier circulated a reward of up to a million rubles (about $42,000) for information leading to the apprehension of the arsonist or arsonists. Several people were detained in connection with the fires on Friday.

Of the 28 cars set fire to from May 30 to June 7, 12 were in southwest Moscow.
