LUANDA, September 2 (RIA Novosti) - Russian companies are interested in developing oil, gas and iron ore deposits in Angola, the Russian foreign minister said Saturday.
Sergei Lavrov met today with Angolan President Jose Eduardo Dos Santos during his current African tour, which includes Angola, Nigeria and Ethiopia.
Lavrov said the talks focused on projects pioneered by the Russian aluminum giant Alrosa.
"Russian companies are also showing interest in the development of iron ore deposits, projects in oil-and-gas sector, satellite broadcast and mobile communications," Lavrov said.
