MOSCOW, October 14 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Nikolai Davydenko defended his Kremlin Cup title after beating Paul-Henri Mathieu of France 7-5 7-6 (11-9) in Moscow on Sunday.
Earlier on Sunday, Russia's Elena Dementieva won her first Kremlin Cup title after beating world No. 7 Serena Williams of the U.S. 5-7 6-1 6-1 in the final in Moscow.
