Ukrainian opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko was questioned at the Prosecutor General's Office for six hours on Wednesday.

"It was six hours of downright harassment," she said as she emerged from the building.

The pro-Western former prime minister was charged with abuse of office on Monday.

Tymoshenko, who has been questioned several times over the past few weeks, earlier told reporters she was not afraid of being arrested.

She is also accused of illegally using proceeds from sales of carbon emission quotas under the Kyoto Protocol to pay pensions.

Tymoshenko earlier said the criminal charges against her and members of her former government were politically motivated.
