MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia's agriculture watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor said earlier on Wednesday that Moscow may ban supplies of all diary products from Belarus due to their poor quality and safety violations.
"I think Rosselkhoznadzor exaggerated the situation…We have identified drawbacks at several companies, they will be rectified and will return to the Russian market in the near future," Tkachev told reporters in Moscow.
"In general, the flow of milk and dairy products to Russia [from Belarus] continues and nobody is planning to stop it," Tkachev added.
