Moscow hails Mohamed El-Baradei's reelection as IAEA director general

MOSCOW, June 15 (RIA Novosti) - Moscow welcomes the reelection of the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) Director General Mohamed El-Baradei, the press release of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Information and Press Department says.
"We assume that the consensus reelection of Dr. Mohamed El-Baradei for the third term shows the support of the member states, including Russia, he enjoys by right," the release notes.
"We expect the Agency to continue to fulfill its mission in a very professional and unbiased manner against the background of new challenges and threats facing the international community," the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasizes in its press release.
Egyptian lawyer Mohamed El-Baradei was reelected for the third four-year term of duty by the meeting of the IAEA Council of Governors on Monday.
