MOSCOW, May 24 (RIA Novosti) - Irkut Corporation (RTS: IRKT) 2005 net profit calculated to International Financial Reporting Standards rose by 24.1% year-on-year to $84.8 million, the Russian aircraft maker said Tuesday.
The corporation's earnings for 2005 rose by 14.5% against the previous year's figure to $711.7 million, which the concern put down to increased output at its subsidiaries.
Irkut is one of Russia's largest aerospace holdings. It designs, manufactures, and sells a wide range of high-tech products, including the Su-30MK multirole combat aircraft and the Be-200 multipurpose amphibious jet.
