MOSCOW, August 18 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's oil production has grown 2.3% in the first six months of 2006, year-on-year, to 235.8 metric tons, the State Statistic Committee said Friday.
Domestic sales rose 6.1%, to 106 mln metric tons, while exports fell 0.1%, to 124.9 mln metric tons.
Oil exports in the reporting period accounted for 35.5% of Russia's total exports, and 52.1% of its energy exports.
