MOSCOW, January 22 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's oil production grew 2.1% in the first 11 months of 2006, year-on-year, to 438.6 million metric tons, the Federal State Statistics Service said Monday.
The agency said domestic sales were up 5.5% in the reporting period, year-on-year, to 199.9 million metric tons, while exports were down 1.2%, to 227.5 million metric tons.
The share of oil in Russia's aggregate exports was 34.6% and 52.4% in its energy and fuel exports in the reporting period, as compared to 34.8% and 54.4% in the previous year, respectively.
