MOSCOW, February 20 (RIA Novosti) - Credit institutions' balances on correspondent accounts with the Central Bank of Russia totaled 427.7 billion rubles ($16.3 billion at the current exchange rate) at the beginning of the business day, down 2.66% (11.7 billion rubles/$446 million) from Monday, the CBR said Tuesday.
Credit institutions' balances on deposit accounts with the Bank of Russia stood at 160 billion rubles ($6.1 billion), up 11.34% (16.3 billion rubles/$621.8 million) from Monday.
