MOSCOW, June 6 (RIA Novosti) - TNK-BP [RTS: TNBP], a Russian-British joint oil venture, said Wednesday its US GAAP net profit increased 40% year-on-year in 2006 to $6.6 billion.
Russia's third largest crude producer said its sales grew 11% in the reporting period to $24.7 billion and EBITDA climbed 23% to $11.15 billion.
In 2006, TNK-BP produced 620 million barrels of oil equivalent.
