MOSCOW, July 2 (RIA Novosti) - Tatneft [RTS: TATN], one of Russia's largest crude producers, said Monday its US GAAP net income grew 5.4%, year on year, in 2006 to 29.7 billion rubles (about $1.2 billion).
Tatneft, Russia's sixth largest crude producer located in the Volga Republic of Tatarstan, said in its audited consolidated financial statements that its revenues were 318 billion rubles (about $12 billion) in 2006 compared with 300.4 billion rubles (about $11.6 billion) in 2005.
Tatneft accounts for over 80% of crude output in Tatarstan, and produced 25 million metric tons (509,000 bbl/d) in 2006, the same as in 2005.
