TBILISI, October 25 (RIA Novosti) - Georgia imported 729 million cubic meters of Russian natural gas, worth $171 million, in the first nine months of 2007, the country's statistics service said on Thursday.
Associated and natural gas accounted for about 40% of all Russian exports to Georgia, mostly following soaring gas prices.
Georgia's natural gas imports totaled $223 million in the reporting period, up $80 million, year-on-year, from 2006.
