MOSCOW, December 27 (RIA Novosti) - Russia and U.S. are to establish a joint venture in the Ural mountains to manufacture spare parts for the Boeing Dreamliner, the head of the Russian Technology state-run corporation said on Thursday.
"We are establishing the Ural-Boeing enterprise, which will manufacture ready-to-use parts for Boeing-787. The enterprise will be in the Urals," Sergei Chemezov said.
He said Russia had ordered up-to-date equipment from the U.S.
Sergei Kravchenko, the Boeing director in Russia and CIS countries, has confirmed the information.
