MOSCOW, January 28 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's largest mobile handset retailer Euroset said on Monday its sales had grown 21.4% year-on-year in 2007 to $5.6 billion.
Euroset, which had 5,145 outlets in former Soviet republics as of the end of December, said its cell phone sales had climbed 4.2% year-on-year in 2007, to 12.6 million, including 11.3 million in Russia.
Euroset accounted for an estimated 34.8% of cell phone sales in Russia in 2007 and expects its sales to grow by 8-10% in 2008, the company said.
