MOSCOW, February 20 (RIA Novosti) - Baltika [RTS: PKBA], a leading Russian brewery, said Wednesday its net profit, calculated to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), rose 20.5%, year-on-year, in 2007, to 398.7 million euros ($582 million).
Baltika, which was established in St. Petersburg in 1998 and owns 11 breweries in nine Russian regions, said its revenues increased 29.5% in the reporting period to 2.25 billion euros ($3.3 billion) and attributed the growth to increased beer sales, which totaled 43.7 million hectoliters.
