Power plant builder Technopromexport's profit up 31% in 2007

MOSCOW, April 21 (RIA Novosti) - Russian state-controlled power plant manufacturer Technopromexport said on Monday its net profit calculated to Russian Accounting Standards grew 31.2% year-on-year in 2007 to 727.15 million ($30 million).
The company, which builds hydraulic, thermal, geothermal and diesel power plants, and power transmission lines in 50 countries, said its sales in the reporting period totaled 16.46 billion rubles ($685 million).
Technopromexport's portfolio of orders currently stands at $3.37 billion, the company said.
