MOSCOW, June 2 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Economics Minister Elvira Nabiullina said on Monday that preparations have been completed for the 12th International Economic Forum to be held in St. Petersburg on June 6-8.

"Everything is ready and in order," Nabiullina told Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the newly-formed inner Cabinet.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, to be attended by President Dmitry Medvedev, brings together world business leaders and politicians to discuss key economic issues facing Russia and the international community.

The focus of the forum will be to "find a balance between national interests and the need for joint solutions to global problems," Nabiullina said.

The second day of the forum's plenary sessions on June 8 will be attended by the newly appointed first deputy prime minister, Igor Shuvalov.
