MOSCOW, September 10 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's GDP stood at 19.1 trillion rubles ($747 billion) at current prices in the first half of 2008, up 8% year-on-year, the country's statistics service said on Wednesday.
The country's economic ministry earlier said GDP growth in January-June 2008 in Russia stood at 8%.
According to the ministry's forecast, Russia's GDP could grow 7.6%-7.8% in 2008.
