MOSCOW, September 10 (RIA Novosti) - There will be resignations in the top management of RusHydro, the owner of a Siberian hydroelectric power plant where a recent accident killed at least 74 people, a RusHydro board source said Thursday.

The source told RIA Novosti that Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko, who heads the board, said some top officials would have to go.

He added that he expected any changes to wait until the publication of the findings of the commission investigating the accident. Seventy-four bodies have been recovered, with one person still listed as missing.

The exact cause of the August 17 accident remains unknown, and the probe is continuing. A special investigations committee is looking into possible violations of work safety regulations.

Russia's crumbling infrastructure, underfunded since the 1990s, has often been the cause of deadly industrial accidents.
