Gazprom forecasts a $20-30 increase year-on-year in gas export prices for European consumers in 2010, a deputy board chairman of Russia's energy giant said on Monday.

MOSCOW, October 26 (RIA Novosti) - Gazprom forecasts a $20-30 increase year-on-year in gas export prices for European consumers in 2010, a deputy board chairman of Russia's energy giant said on Monday.

Alexander Medvedev said earlier the average gas export price would exceed $280 per 1,000 cubic meters in 2009.

"For the next year, we forecast a $20-30 rise in [gas export] prices against this year," Medvedev said.

Gazprom exports revenue could decrease by 35% year-on-year in 2009 to $42.5 billion. Gas exports, excluding deliveries to the CIS, are expected to fall by 22% to 142.5 bcm.

In 2008, Gazprom posted record export revenues of $65 billion, up 60% against 2007.
