Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko offered to offset the country's gas debt with Russian state-run gas giant Gazprom on Tuesday.
"We do not owe Gazprom, Gazprom owes Belarus $70 million, if any debt is to be offset," Lukashenko said at the meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, adding that Gazprom had admitted its debt to Belarus.
