Russia's anti-monopoly watchdog said on Monday it had found Manros-M, a subsidiary of Russia's top dairy producer Wimm-Bill-Dann in the Omsk region in west Siberia, guilty of price-fixing.
The Federal Anti-Monopoly Service issued its statement after monitoring milk prices in the Omsk region in August, following which it found Manros-M and several other minor regional milk producers of price collusion, it said.
The monitoring showed that Manros-M hiked milk prices 15.02 percent, Vita 15.44 percent and the Lyubinsky dairy plant 9.53 percent last month, it said.
The anti-monopoly watchdog said it had issued an order to the dairy producers to eliminate the violations exposed during the monitoring, adding that it would also be imposing fines on them.
