The Moscow city government is to sell its stake in Vnukovo airport, home to Russia's largest dedicated business aviation facility, and the Moscow airline (formerly Atlant-Soyuz), Transport Minister Igor Levitin said on Thursday.
The city government owns 75% of Vnukovo and 51% of Moscow airline.
"The city's position is that it is disposing of all peripheral assets. These assets (Vnukovo and the Moscow Airline) are peripheral. We will dispose of them soon," Levitin said.
Vnukovo is one of the capital's four airports, and is home to the government's air service as well as international charter and business jet operators.
