Russian food and consumer goods retailer Dixy Group's IFRS net losses fell to 37.3 million rubles ($1.20 million) in January-September 2010 , the company said on Wednesday.
Dixy's revenue rose 17 percent year-on-year to 46.36 million rubles. In dollar terms, revenue increased 25.6 percent to $1.532 million, the company said.
The company's nine month gross profit grew by 13.1 percent to 12 billion rubles, and in dollar terms by 21.4 percent to $396.7 million. EBITDA rose by 8.3 percent to 2.229 billion rubles. In dollar terms, EBITDA increased by 16.2 percent to $76 million.
In January-September 2010, the company opened 71 news stores in central and northwest Russia, Dixy said, adding it planned to open over 100 new selling outlets in 2010. In 2009, Dixy opened 38 stores.
