Russia's competition watchdog, the Federal Antimonopoly Service has filed a suit against Volga-based subsidiaries of oil giants TNK-BP and LUKoil over collusion on fuel prices, the service said on Thursday.
The watchdog accuses the companies of fixing prices for AI-80 gasoline brand in the Saratov region.
Saratovnefteproduct, the TNK-BP subsidiary, says its market share in the region amounts to 45%, while that of LUKoil-Nizhnevolzhsknefteproduct is 25%.
