Russia's Yandex search engine and Kaspersky Lab anti-virus software maker are among the world's 50 most innovative companies in 2011, U.S. Fast Company business journal said on Wednesday.
Yandex, which holds a 65% share of the Russian market alongside Google, ranks 26th, while Google ranks 6th.
Kaspersky Lab, the world's fourth biggest maker of secure content management systems, competing with Symantec, McAfee Inc and Trend Micro, ranks 32nd.
Apple tops the 2011 list "for dominating the business landscape in 101 ways", having overrun Facebook which fell to the 3rd position after being on top in 2010. Twitter jumped to the 3rd position from the 50th in 2010.
