A man in Russia’s Far East has been sentenced to two years in prison for biting a policeman during a drug bust in September.
The man was one of three men detained by the Federal Drug Control Service officers in the village of Grigoryevka when they were trying to sell 455 grams of hashish, the VestiRegion.ru website reported.
He had tried to escape on a motorcycle but failed. He then bit a policeman on the hand while he was being handcuffed.
If also convicted for drug offenses, the man may face a total of 20 years in jail.
