MOSCOW, August 10 (RIA Novosti) - Another Polish diplomat was attacked in Moscow.
The second secretary of the Polish Embassy, 35, was attacked near the embassy premises in downtown Moscow at 1:00 p.m. Moscow time [9:00 GMT], the police said.
The police quoted the diplomat as saying that four men had presumably attacked him. The diplomat was hospitalized. Police are searching for the attackers.
The Polish Embassy confirmed the attack.
It was the second such attack in recent days. On Sunday, August 7, attackers, who have still not been identified, severely beat Andrzej Uriadko, a Polish Embassy employee. Uriadko was hospitalized with a concussion and rib fractures.
Poland sent a letter Monday to the Russian Foreign Ministry regarding this attack.
The ministry said Russian authorities were taking additional measures to guarantee the safety of embassy employees and their families.
