King of Jordan set to arrive in Russia

MOSCOW, August 16 (RIA Novosti) - King Abdullah II of Jordan arrives in Moscow on a three-day routine visit Tuesday to attend the MAKS 2005 air show in Zhukovsky, the Moscow region, where he is expected to discuss interaction in the technological field with the Russian leadership.

After his a short time in Moscow, the king will travel to the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi.

The Jordanian Ambassador to Moscow, Abdul Ilah Muhammed Ali al-Kurdi, said the king would discuss the Middle East, in particular the resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and Russian-Jordanian relations.

Abdullah II is scheduled to sign a bilateral Russian-Jordanian memorandum during his visit.
