MOSCOW, August 23 (RIA Novosti) - Foreign ministers from CIS member states have approved reform measures for CIS agencies, the Russian foreign minister said.
"The resolution outlining the relevant measures has been adopted and recommended for adoption by the Council of Heads of State," Sergei Lavrov said following a CIS foreign ministers' session in Moscow.
CIS foreign ministers also approved a proposal to develop humanitarian cooperation between CIS countries that was signed on May 8 in Moscow at a meeting between member states' leaders.
Lavrov said the resolution on reform encompassed culture, sports, and tourism. During the meeting, the topics of healthcare, organized crime, and prevention of technological catastrophes were discussed.
