MOSCOW, October 3 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in London from Belgium late Monday to attend a Russia-EU summit, which opens October 4.
After the summit, Putin is scheduled to hold a news conference with British Prime Minister Tony Blair, President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, and High Representative for the EU Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solano.
Putin will also meet with British businessmen at 10 Downing Street. He will then attend a working dinner hosted by the British prime minister.
On October 5, Russian and British delegations will continue discussions and Putin will present awards to British Navy servicemen who rescued a Russian mini-sub that became trapped on the Pacific Ocean floor off the Russian coast in August.
Putin is scheduled to leave London for Moscow late Wednesday.
