MOSCOW, November 3 (RIA Novosti) - Russian military pilot Major Valery Troyanov, who survived a crash in Lithuania in September, has now recovered from his injuries and is ready to fly again, the Russian Air Force said Thursday.

"Troyanov completed his treatment and rehabilitation course and has left for the base in the Leningrad region where he is stationed," Air Force Communications Officer Alexander Drobyshevsky said.

Troyanov ejected as his Su-27 Flanker fighter crashed September 15 in Lithuania while en route to the Russian Baltic exclave of Kaliningrad.

Lithuanian authorities arrested Troyanov but released him in early October, after an investigating panel established that the crash had been caused by a navigation system failure and there was no evidence to prove the pilot had deliberately violated Lithuanian airspace.
