MOSCOW, November 17 (RIA Novosti) - Two missile brigades of the Russian Army will be equipped with new SS-26 Iskander missiles in 2007, the commander of Russia's missile and artillery forces said Thursday.
"The 92nd missile brigade of the Privolzhky-Uralsky military district and the 107th missile brigade of the Far Eastern military district will be the first to receive Iskander missile complexes," Colonel General Vladimir Zaritsky told a news conference in Moscow. "The transition to new weapons will start in 2007, brigade by brigade."
