Blasts on pipelines cut gas supplies to Georgia, Armenia

MOSCOW, January 22 (RIA Novosti) - Two blasts that occurred early Sunday on trunk pipelines running across southern Russia cut gas supplies to Georgia and Armenia, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said.
The explosions hit two pipelines in North Ossetia, Russia's republic in the North Caucasus. Repair work was under way to restore gas supplies. The causes of the explosions were being investigated, the ministry said.
