MOSCOW, April 27 (RIA Novosti) - A Progress M-57 cargo rocket will be launched to the International Space Station between June 24 and 28, the head of the Russia's Energia space corporation said Thursday.

Nikolai Sevostyanov said, "The issue of the launch date is still being discussed. It will take place between June 24 and 28."

Vladimir Solovyov, the head of the Russian segment of the world's sole orbital station, said Russia would wait for NASA to set the launch date of its shuttle to the station before reaching a decision.

Solovyov also said that the launch of the Russian program's 13th expedition to the ISS, to take Russia's Pavel Vinogradov and U.S. astronaut Jeffrey Williams to the station, will take place June 1-5.

"Nearer fall we intend to carry out a second launch, this time through the American program, and with American space suits," he said.
