MOSCOW, May 6 (RIA Novosti) - Inflation in April 2006 was 0.4% against 1.1% in April 2005, the Federal Statistics Service said Saturday.
The service said inflation had hit 5.4% since the start of the year against last year's 6.5%.
The government's 2006 inflation target is 8.5%.
