SAKHALIN, May 11 (RIA Novosti) - All 13 people traveling on a Russian helicopter that crashed off the island of Sakhalin Thursday have been rescued, sources in the Russian the Far East said.
Two are in a critical condition and are being treated on Japanese ships in the area.
The helicopter crashed during a Russian-Japanese exercise to respond to an oil spill. Russian experts have said the aircraft could stay afloat for 30-40 minutes.
