MOSCOW, May 16 (RIA Novosti) - Sitronics is likely to hold an initial public offering in February 2007 on an American exchange, the chief executive of AFK Sistema (RTS: AFKS; LSE: SSA) said Tuesday.

Alexander Goncharuk said the Russian telecoms and services holding's high-tech arm would have capitalization of $2-4 billion by February.

He said a deal to buy Greek company Intracom Telecom, to be completed in late May, as well as talks underway to buy an American company, would increase the Sitronics' capitalization.

"If all these [things] are done, we will reach the capitalization I have spoken about," Goncharuk said.

Goncharuk said the lead managers for the upcoming IPO had not been chosen yet, but added that if shares were placed on an American exchange, American banks would be chosen.

He said the IPO would be held both in Russia and abroad.

Earlier, Goncharuk said he expected between 10% and 30% of the company's equity to be floated.

Sitronics, founded in 1997, is a hi-tech subsidiary of AFK Sistema, which holds a 94.5% stake in it. The company produces audio-visual equipment, household electronic goods, and computer equipment.

The other shareholders in Sitronics are German company Ned Electronic (2.5%) and the company's management (3%).

Goncharuk also said Sistema-Gals, a Sistema arm dealing with real estate, would hold an IPO before the end of 2006 on a London exchange, as the company's capitalization was about $2-4 billion.

He said the IPO would also be held on the Russian market.
