Three Nalchik attack militants arrested - interior ministry

NALCHIK, Southern Russia, May 20 (RIA Novosti) - Three militants involved in an attack last October against the southern city of Nalchik have been arrested, the Interior Ministry said Saturday.
"During search operations ... three participants in the October attack on Nalchik were arrested," a spokesman said.
In October 2005, at least 150 militants attacked administrative buildings in the city of Nalchik, the capital of the North Caucasus republic of Kabardino-Balkaria. Russian officials say that during two days of fighting, 35 law-enforcement officers and 12 civilians were killed. A total of 92 militants were killed and dozens captured.
