MOSCOW, May 24 (RIA Novosti) - Border guards and the drug control agency have seized a major haul of narcotics in southern Siberia, the Russian security service said Wednesday.
Officers discovered almost 200 kilograms (440lb) of heroin and marijuana hidden in two trucks during a stop-check in the Altai Territory.
"Borders guards and drug control service officers detained four nationals of Uzbekistan driving two trucks toward Russia," the Federal Security Service said. "A total of 151 kilograms of heroin and 40 kilograms of marijuana were stowed in the tool compartment."
