ANKARA, May 24 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will pay an official visit to Turkey May 31 - June 1, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.
The ministry said Lavrov would meet with Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul and parliamentary speaker Bulent Arinc.
Regional and international problems on the agenda will include the Mideast peace process, the Iranian nuclear controversy, prospects for improvement in Iraq, and the Cyprus problem.
