GROZNY, May 29 (RIA Novosti) - The Federal Security Service (FBS) said Monday it had prevented a bombing on a road in the southeast of the North Caucasus region.
The FSB said security officials from its Chechnya branch had discovered a group of nine gunmen planting a homemade explosive device on the road.
"The explosive device detonated during the skirmish, killing two gunmen. The others were wounded and escaped into the forest," the FSB said.
