MOSCOW, June 6 (RIA Novosti) - The first licenses for provision of third-generation cellular communications (3G) services in Russia will be issued before the end of 2006, Russia's information technologies minister said Tuesday.
"At the end of summer, we plan to announce a tender and complete everything by the end of the year," Leonid Reiman said, adding that documents on the tender are currently being drafted.
