MOSCOW, June 20 (RIA Novosti) - Uralsvyazinform [RTS: URSIG] posted a 3.3% increase in net profit for 2005 to 2.327 billion rubles ($86 million), the leading telecoms company in the Urals region said Tuesday.
Operational profit rose 15.9% to 5.477 billion rubles and pre-tax profit climbed 0.2% to 3.408 billion rubles, the company said.
Earnings per share grew 3.6% on 2004 to 0.058 rubles.
Russia's Svyazinvest telecoms giant holds 53% in Uralsvyazinform, 18% of shares are distributed among nominal holders and 28% are owned by private individuals.
