MOSCOW, June 22 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's federal budget for 2007 will increase spending by 415 billion rubles ($15.36 billion) compared to initial figures approved in March, the finance minister said Thursday.

The federal budget's revenues in 2007, including receipts from the Stabilization Fund, set up to accumulate windfall oil revenues, are planned at 6.63 trillion rubles ($245.41 billion) and expenditures at 5.28 trillion rubles ($195.44 billion).

Alexei Kudrin said expenditures would be increased by 250 billion rubles ($9.25 billion) in 2008 in order to deal with key social problems outlined in the presidential state of the nation address, including demographic policy and national projects in housing, healthcare, education and agriculture.
